About Graffiti

Graffiti is scratch on the wall that using the composition of color, line, shape, and volume to write words, symbols, or particular phrase. The tools used in the present usually spray paint cans. Prior to spray paint available, graffiti is generally made with a sweep of paint using a brush or chalk.

According to my own, now graffiti more towards to street art that frees bomber / writer expresses his work through the lines and form a certain pattern in the added composition of attractive colors and typically use the initials of his name or his crew. 

If in America or Europe, Graffiti may still be used as a marker of territory of a region group. In Europe, the government is very strict oppose the graffiti because they spoil the aesthetic value and tend to be fouled. But in the America, many states that have their own rules about graffiti. And in Indonesia probably most people in big cities have received this art as the art of positive, but there are still some cities where the government is quite oppose the rampant vandalized this wall because there are still assumption that the graffiti is the art of damage and not clear.

Graffiti formerly was regarded as street vendors who can only spoil the view of the city (vandalism).
But today, graffiti has been regarded as art.

Basically, vandalism refers to the destruction of the property of others as well as the goods intended for the public interest. But vandalism also has aspects of emotion in doing it. Furious and annoyed or even just to release the sheer boredom, usually the reason for vandalism. Clearly, when damaging the public interest with an emotional charge as a motivation, then we can say that part of the form of vandalism.

Different from the graffiti that become part of the art, which put more emphasis on the elements of delivering a message and freedom of expression. Vandalism is more likely to damage the property of others. And finally, there are some people who still consider that the graffiti as vandalism behavior, because the use of the media is a public facility.

But also many people who see graffiti is a form of artistic expression, which is much better than the walls filled with commercial messages. And once again, the graffiti also should be appreciated as works of art.

Graffiti until whenever maybe is going to be controversial. On the one hand it will say that graffiti is vandalism behavior, but the other hand interpret graffiti as art and freedom of expression.

A Lonely Man

   Long time ago in a faraway place, a lonely man moved into a new neighborhood. His first project was his new garden. He begun to work on it right away. He wanted to make a perfect garden.

   One day some friendly neighbors and their children visited the man in his garden and helped him to finished his garden. They planted flowers and built a small bridge across a little stream. All of them were very happy during they were building the bridge and working on the garden. The man was especially happy because he was no longer lonely. While the adults were working, some of their children played with a ball in the garden. While they were playing, one of them stepped on a flower. Suddenly the man got very angry and told everyone to left his garden. All neighbors left and went back to their own homes.

   After that, the man built a wall around his garden and locked the gate. For the rest of his life, the man sat alone in his garden every evening and cried.
